Update September 28th 2010
The Carbon County Animal Response Team and Carbon County Friends of Animals are working together in placing over 100 Labrador retrievers.
As per the direction from Donna Crum, legally, we are unable to adopt these animals to private citizens. All animals will be placed into legitimate rescues, shelters, veterinarians and other facilities who are regularly involved with rescues/adoptions. We are asking all private citizens to check the Carbon County CART website and Carbon County Friends of Animals website for a list of agencies where the dogs will be placed. This list will not be available until all animals are placed. If anyone is interested in adopting, they must contact the facilities directly, not Donna Crum. Donna will be unable to return any private citizen phone calls, e-mails, text messages, etc.
However, any rescues, shelters, veterinarians and other facilities who are reguarly involved with rescues/adoptions and are interested in these dogs, you are encouraged to contact Donna Crum directly. We are moving as quickly as possible to remove these dogs from their current location. All agencies where the dogs are placed will receive a list of names of everyone who has expressed an interest in adopting.
In order for us to expedite this process we are asking for everyone’s cooperation and to access the websites for updated information. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has opened their hearts to these animals. Our priority is to have these animals placed as quickly as possible so the adoption process may begin.
Thank you for your cooperation and we ask that you continue to support both organizations. Remember, please spay & neuter your pets.
